This pod is designed for collaboration between everybody who is launching or trying to launch a transformational business anywhere on the planet. The specific focus is on attracting the capital we needto make the difference we want to make.
Together, let's seriously explore the ways in which we entrepreneurs and social change agents can support one another...(more) in completing our teams, defining and articulating our visions and capitalizing our ideas. We are already changing this planet, but to make a HUGE and lasting impact we need to tap in to the vast sources of capital that now predominantly flow into less conscious enterprises.
Let's work together to find formulas that work, business plans that inspire and capital sources that are seeking higher ground. Let's help each other to identify what's missing in our plans, in our teams or in our growth strategies. Let's be idealistic realists for one another. Let's explore what's possible by grounding ourselves in the reality of where we are currently and exploring how to get where we want to go.
We have a different set of values than many of those who came before. But we still have to use the same little paper rectangles with dead presidents on them if we are to get in the game. we still have to write plans or demonstrate business models to be taken seriously. And we still have to create business entities with all those legal documents and agreements, cuz that's how the game is played. Let's learn to excel at that game, even as we usher in a world in which maybe fewer such games are necessary.
How can we bring new values to an old game?

A few ground rules. Please remember, this is not a forum where you come to get funding. It is a forum where you come to network about how to attract capital.
1. This is a forum to collaborate and share ideas, resources and advice. It is not a forum for “dissing” anyone's business idea. Constructive criticism often fosters growth. Destructive criticism crushes dreams. We all know the difference between the two.
2. This is not a place to solicit funds from anyone directly. There is a board to post funding needs and ask for suggestions about where to find capital. But this pod should not be used to solicit any other member in the Zaadz community for funds, nor to post the names and other information of individuals one thinks might be a funding source for a business. All members agree NOT TO SOLICIT FUNDS FROM ANY PERSON IN THE COMMUNITY OR TO POST PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT ANY OTHER INDIVIDUALS AS FUNDING SOURCES FOR ANY BUSINESS. Please respect this.
3. Posting links to public websites for venture capital firms, investment banks, foundations, government funding sources, advisory services and the like is great and will help us all identify sources of capital for our ventures.
4. This is a forum for discussing how to attract capital into businesses designed for change and transformation. It is fine to describe your business, but if your business involves network marketing–which is fine–please do not actively solicit people to join your network from this pod. Direct people to your profile or your website. Join one of the marketing pods on Zaadz. Here, let's keep the focus on tactics and strategy, successes and failures, vision and mission, collaboration and innovation.
5. Remember that when you post information about your business online, even in a trusted community like Zaadz, you are still making it public or at least quasi-public. If your business has intellectual property, proprietary information and such, it is probably not a good idea to post the documents you've created that describe it, unless you don't mind others to see it. Describe what you are up to, if you choose to do so, but don't put the secret formula for your gizmo out to the boards. This is the digital age. Information spreads far and fast. Word to the wise: don't show your hand if you don't want anyone to see your cards. Nuff said.
OK, so that's a lot of ground rules, but let's keep this pod operating at a highly conscious level. Shortcuts, shady tactics and soliciting money inappropriately is at odds with what we all say we're about. It belongs to the world we are out to change, not the world we want to create. And, all those things probably violate the terms and conditions of participation in Zaadz that you agreed to even if you didn't read it :)
